Site5 & dreamhost are using custom made control panel; site5 is using backstage control panel and dreamhost is using their web like control panel. We should consider other web hosting feature uniques if want to compare them properly.
From pricing comparison, dreamhost hosting is selling at $9.97 per month, thats quit expensive for any web hosting plan. Site5 hosting are from $4.95 per month, and unlimited hosting package with turbo feature is selling for $7.95 which is reasonable price. We vote for site5 when comparing web hosting feature and pricing.
For technical support wise, site5 support with live chat support is a plus, you can reach support team for website issue at anytime without any cost. Dreamhost support only offering phone support and email ticket support, email ticketing is too slow in case of having emergency!
