Site5 uptime was lower than 99.9% uptime for this november. As per monitoring, there were major downtime detected on 9th of the month, which last for 100 minutes long, that is almost one and half an hour of service downtime. Other than that, site 5 server response time was very slow over the month, recording only 0.464 second only. This indicating the server is not fast, and might be having some problems.

Last month recording at 99.8% uptime, which is good. But this month service uptime falls again, to 99.7% uptime level, with 8 service downtime occurance recorded over the month. This site5 server is responding slow as well, recording at 0.5 second of average response time.

site5 uptime for july 2008 really suck, recorded at 99.5% uptime level, with almost 0.5% of service downtime. Over 17 downtime/problem occurance detected over the month, and with almost 200 minutes of service downtime recorded.

The site5 server response time was slow, recorded at only 0.426 second. A really slow hosting server. Compare site5 server performance with other web hosting providers: fatcow, hostgator, hostmonster, ixwebhosting, bluehost, lunarpages, webhostingpad, fastdomain, powweb, eukhost, a2 hosting, dot5 hosting, ipower etc.

Site5 affiliate program sucks!

It had been great, with $85 dollars commission when you refer your friend or anyone to site5 hosting, and when that referral is successful, you will get paid! Thats the catch. But not anymore, site5 affiliate program screw up and end up giving you a Big DONUT Now… a.k.a $0 in return!!

Well, there had been quit a lot of discussion site5 forum in the pass 4 months, and many affiliate members had forwarded their complaints to site5 affiliate division, and hopefully they will get paid someday soon! It had been 4 months of waiting… and waiting.. and waiting.

They had been blaming the system is buggy and failed to send payout to their affiliate members. Well, how hard will that be? A few lines of coding will does the trick right? why would this problem never occur months ago, and how affiliate still get paid. There must be a working version hidden somewhere. If the new codes don’t work, make it work!!! Its been 4 months of waste of time!!

Fellow affiliate members had spend times & even money on promoting site5 hosting, and its reasonable to get them paid. Its simple as that. When you didn’t pay, you screw up everyone, and you get a bad posting like this one… everywhere.. all over the place!!!
